NeighborWorks operates several programs that assist with down payments and closing costs. These programs offer aid in the form of loans that are at 0% interest with no monthly payments. Loans may need to be paid back if you are no longer living in the home. Each program, (Neighborworks Loan Fund, Housing Cost Reduction Initiative, and HOME) has different financial and homeownership requirements.
All applicants must meet the income limits and other requirements of their chosen program as well as complete a NeighborWorks homebuyer education course.
