Beaver County offers financial assistance to potential homeowners

The Beaver County First Time Homebuyer Program allocates funds toward down payment and closing cost assistance for low-to-moderate income people buying their first home in the county. The amount of the assistance grant is forgiven at 20% per year and is totally forgiven after five years.

Eligible participants must have less than $5,000 in liquid assets and meet income limits at time of closing. Income limits can be found here.

To apply, contact the Beaver County housing authority at (724) 775-1220 in order to schedule an in person, one-on-one counseling session in order to begin your application.
